Battery Maintenance or Replacement

A vehicle's battery is responsible for providing the power needed to start a car or truck via the ignition. The part then stores the energy needed to run a vehicle's electrical components after turning off the engine. However, batteries have a limited lifespan before they need replacement. The battery cables must also be in good condition to transfer the electricity to where the current needs to travel.

Occasionally, the battery posts become corroded. The battery cable ends or a cable itself may break. These problems interfere with the ability of the battery to supply and store power. Before taking a long-distance road trip or cold weather strikes, have your battery components checked to ensure all are in working order. Simply bring the vehicle to the service center at Henry Curtis Ford where one of our qualified technicians make a quick inspection. If we detect a problem, we will resolve the matter to get you back on the road.
